SFA Members to Picket 'Anti Squirrel' Web Sites

For the entire month of May, anti-Squirrel web sites are to be picketed by SFA members.

Surfers hoping to visit web sites targeted by the SFA will first have to run the gauntlet of a SFA picket line. Card carrying SFA members will keep a visible presence at the web site's entrance in the hope of discouraging people from crossing the picket line.

Sites to be targeted include Scary Squirrel World, deadsquirrel.com, and the Anti-Squirrel Web Ring.

The SFA hopes to show anti-squirrel web sites that they are not welcome on the World Wide Web by hitting them where it hurts them most, their hit counters.

"By cutting the number of hits that these web sites get, advertisers will be less inclined to support them and hopefully they will quietly disappear," said the chairsquirrel of the SFA, Stan Squirrel. "Where ever Squirrel injustice exists, where ever any Squirrel is persecuted, the SFA will be there."
