Overseas Travel Increases Squirrel Awareness

Surveys commissioned by the SFA clearly demonstrate that Australians who travel to countries populated by Squirrels are more likely to want Squirrels than Australians who don't travel.

A poll of travelers arriving in Australia after a 15 hour flight from North America found that 9% were in favor of Squirrels in Australia. Only 1% of those polled were against, with 90% of travelers too tired to respond.

A similar poll of shoppers at a nearby K-mart showed a 60/40 split in favor of Squirrels.

The figures support the SFA's claims that exposure to Squirrels promotes feelings of wellbeing that Australians wish they could experience at home.
